Meet Coach Reed

I’m Coach Reed — a varsity high school offensive line coach, former four-year Division II starter with 49 career collegiate starts, and a former NFL rookie camp participant. I grew up playing football in Colorado and attended high school here, which has shaped both my playing career and my approach to coaching.

Offensive line has always been my passion, both as a player and as a coach. I’ve experienced firsthand how much proper technique, communication, and understanding matter at the line of scrimmage — especially for a position that often doesn’t get the detailed coaching it deserves.

Kingz Of The Trenches was created to build a strong foundation for offensive line development in the city Aurora and across the state of Colorado. My goal is to take offensive line training to the next level by providing position-specific coaching that develops confident, technically sound linemen who understand the game and take pride in their craft.

My Philosophy:

Offensive line is the most technical position in football — yet one of the least properly developed outside of team practices. Too often, linemen are expected to perform without fully understanding why techniques work or how their role fits into the bigger picture.

At Kingz Of The Trenches, I focus on teaching linemen how to play the position the right way. That means mastering fundamentals, understanding defensive fronts and protections, and learning how to communicate and adjust as a unit. Development isn’t just about reps — it’s about awareness, accountability, and consistency.

I believe the best offensive lines are built on trust. When linemen know their responsibilities, trust the man next to them, and take pride in their preparation, confidence takes over and performance follows.
